Why Bo Sanchez is My Hero

When it comes to prayers, understanding the bible, spirituality, abundance, money-budgeting strategies, massive ministries, soulfood, fun, life, inspiration, Bo Sanchez is the man I mostly admire.  It really is amazing how God can make someones life so awesome.  Bo Sanchez is still is my most influential virtual mentor about God, life and  handling money well.  I don't remember when I started reading his books and when I came to know him but when I did, my knowledge about life has changed drastically in a way that I like very much. 

Bo Sanchez as many know is a an author of many articles and best-selling books, an international speaker, preacher, an entrepreneur, a founder of many ministries such as Anawim, Tahanan ng Pagmamahal, Grace to be Born, Shepherd's Voice, Light of Jesus Community, Light of Jesus Counselling Center, Kerygma Family, among others.  He is a father, a husband, a good son, a good brother, a great listener and hope-booster to the many people who listen to his talks such as every Sunday in PICC  for The Feast.  He even ventured to homeschooling his kids and I'm thinking of doing the same for my son.

I do not religiously read the Bible but growing up in a Catholic family, I have always been exposed to the teachings in the Bible and I've never really had in depth understanding of any of them until I've read and heard those teachings from Bo.  Knowledge so complicated before are now a practical knowledge of motivation about life and all its struggles, about financial matters, about our  God-given gifts, our anointing, about our dreams and many other important aspects of our life such as health. The Bible really contains so much information about these things.  I did not even know that there is a Law of Reciprocity that means when we give, the universe gives back what we have given to the world in an amount so much more than what we have given.

Bo has this huge influence in how I handle whatever money I have.  From his book, My Maid Invests in the Stock Market and from reading his articles about financial matters, I opened up an account in the stock market and I'm regularly investing a portion of whatever income I have to my stocks.   I am following Bo's abundance formula in my budgeting, the 10% for tithing, 20% for investments and 70% for all expenses.  His Truly Rich Club site is guiding me in buying which companies to buy and to sell.

So for anyone looking to boost up their faith in God and their own gifts, I highly recommend Bo Sanchez articles and books and regular gathering of The Feast every Sunday in PICC and his websites.

Icons and Heroes Defined

What does icon mean? The dictionary on my phone has five meanings of icon depending on the words' use.  Well here on my blog, an icon means none of that defined in my phone's dictionary and instead takes its modern definition from the wikipedia which says that an "icon" is  in the general sense of symbol — i.e. a name, face, picture, edifice or even a person readily recognized as having some well-known significance or embodying certain qualities: one thing, an image or depiction, that represents something else of greater significance through literal or figurative meaning, usually associated with religious, cultural, political, or economic standing. Ok, so it says symbol so I my dictionary had it right after all. What about heroes? Heroes is the plural form of hero. Kidding!  A hero or heroin for a female is again from my phone takes this meanings: Taking these meanings, icons and heroes are just synonymous with each other. Anyway...
